Renowned Macedonian winery Tikves received a special recognition, “Best Imported Brandy”, during Brandy Fest Sofia, in Bulgaria.
Tikvesh won the award in a competition with 23 other leading brandy producers from Balkan countries in the field.
10% of the production of Tikves brandy is exported to Bulgaria, which makes the Macedonian company the most recognizable in the Bulgarian market. Tikves sells 80,000 liters of brandy in the Bulgarian spirits market, said MIA (Macedonian Information Agency) correspondent from Sofia.
“The Bulgarian market is very competitive, and Tikves is ready to respond to this condition” said Veselin Angelov, who is a representative of the Macedonian company in Bulgaria.
