The head of opposition party Levica, Dimitar Apasiev has for now blocked the controversial Citizenship Law during the Defense Committee hearing, using the filibustering method.
The Macedonian opposition party, through procedural remarks, spoke out against the agreed amendments of the Albanian opposition and ruling SDSM.
Levica outlined the law will be used to rush through and give Macedonian citizenship documents unjustly, to boost Albanian numbers in the up coming census, through relaxed security checks and without meeting international criteria.
